Salmon Creek is a small community with almost 17,000 residents, located just north of Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon. Since Washington State University opened a Salmon Creek campus in 1996, the community has become the most rapidly growing area in Clark County, WA. The Pacific Ocean is also only two hours to the west, where visitors can explore the many Lewis & Clark attractions or enjoy a variety of seafood delicacies. The Salmon Creek and Vancouver areas also have a significant number of historical attractions, such as the picturesque Cedar Creek Grist Mill and the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad.
